‘Pattern Textiles’ placement
Posted by admin | Filed under General News
I completed a placement at ‘Pattern Textiles’ in October 2008. I learnt how a design team works under pressure, and how they develop ideas and patterns. I also took part in dying materials to specific colours using acid and direct dyes, and also developed new embroidery and beading techniques.
The most interesting was the art of Tambor Beading, which is the process of using a string of beads and a hook to create designs.

The author of http://www.ashleymcdow.co.uk has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: There is no greater personal triumph than filling your tank with more litres of fuel than you have ever achieved before. Thanks for the info.
